Youtube just changed the site layout, now you can not sort the video based on the most popular ones. For example, below I tried to search for “windows 8”, and usually I could sort the video based on most viewed one or rating, but now the menu is gone :
However, don’t worry, just add this strings at the end of URL :
If you want to sort based on the most popular video, then add :
&search_sort=video_view_count
If you want to sort based on rating :
&search_sort=video_avg_rating
