TomTom on Nokia E61i at 30'000 ft.

Posted by fgutzwiller on YouTube. Tomtom GPS bluetooth paired with Nokia E61i works really well in a flight !

In some country where aircraft accident happens frequently because missing direction, GPS features on mobile phone could actually help the pilot to navigate the plane.

GPS signal is safe in an airplane (since the signal is also used in the aircraft navigation system anyway), but bluetooth signal may cause problem with FAA regulation. So if you want to try this, it's better to use a device that has built in GPS receiver.... - but in case of emergency (i.e. the aircraft lost direction), then I think we could ignore the FAA regulation about turning on your bluetooth or mobile phone altogether.....
